Dog Days

Nell and Sophie “on-point” in our backyard. This picture is in need of a caption … any ideas out there?
I’m thinking of renaming Sophie to “Princess Pees-A-Lot”. She is the goofiest dog. Pet her and she pees. Look at her and she pees. Call her and she pees. Doesn’t matter how many times she has peed in the last two minutes, she always has more.

when i see pictures of your basset hound (sophie?) i think of the james herriot story about a lady who had basset hounds and a christmas day kitten. are you familiar with the author or the story?

That was an especially favorite story of my mom’s. She loved all the James Herriot stories and watched the show that was based on his work “All Creatures Great and Small”. I hadn’t thought about that in awhile, thanks for the good memory.
