Natural disasters have hit hard around the world this past week. The news out of Myanmar is especially devastating when it is clear that their government is only interested in themselves and not the people of Myanmar.

China was hit by a massive earthquake and the death toll is rising exponentially with each passing hour. Franklin Graham (son of Rev. Billy Graham and President of Samaritan’s Purse) was in China when the earthquake struck. He is fine, and is working now with Christian Pastors in China and the government to bring relief and assistance to the victims of this horrific event. You can read the details HERE.

Samaritan’s Purse is the ONLY organization I will donate money to assist in these catastrophic events, because I know without doubt that the money is being used 100% to care for the people who need it. I mentioned yesterday that the Michigan FairTax group wanted our economic stimulus checks. Samaritan’s Purse would be a much better use of that money.
