OneMom Milestone – 80,000!

Just catching up with the highlights and analysis from tonight’s GOP Debate at the Reagan Library, and I noticed that my blog hit 80,000 visitors earlier today. When I first started blogging on July 8th, I had hoped to tell a few people why I was supporting Mike Huckabee for President, talk a bit about homeschooling and other things I find interesting. I truly never imagined that my writing would reach such a large and diverse audience.
So, let me pause here for a moment and give a great big thank-you to my readers … you make this interesting and fun (most of the time). I never expected to make friends here through a place where I write my thoughts, but I truly have found several people that I consider friends – kindred spirits. What a wonderful unexpected blessing to have new friends around the country that I would not have met were it not for this interesting new medium known as blogging.

I look forward to the next 80,000 visits!

Your Love of Mike’s character and authenticity has been the bulwark of the Campaign. God Bless you Kerry and I take note to your ranking as being in the top ten political Bloggs in the World! In my book, you are number one! Hope January 2009 is warm in Washington!

What a blessing it is to be a part of the Huckabee team with you, Kerry! You have used your God-given talents to encourage us all to stay the course and keep our eyes on who Mike really is… and why we all chose to support him in the first place! I have passed along your blog address to friends and others looking at who to support in this campaign, knowing that they would get the facts and analysis from a common worldview. As a bonus through all of this, I have a new hs mom friend! It’s not over yet, so hang tough and keep blogging! (p.s. You should have seen me walking through Kroger las night with a Huckabee sticker slapped on the back of my jacket…it was the best I could do since I didn’t get a Huckabee t-shirt! )

Well, I am One Mom’s husband and am very proud of what she has accomplished for the Huckabee campaign. I had no idea what this blog would evolve into when she started it. Her enthusiasm and committment got me involved, which then got the rest of my family involved, which then friends & co-workers involved, etc.
Oh, and she is a super great wife and mom as well.
