Memorial Service for the Unborn
35th Anniversary of the Legalization of Abortion
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11:30 am
Georgia Capitol Steps in Downtown Atlanta
Guest Speakers:
Bring your family, friends and neighbors, joining us by standing for life! Together for Life is held every year on the anniversary of the infamous Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion on demand in all nine months of pregnancy in the United States. We come together to remember the 48 million Americans that have died in the war on the preborn, and stand as a respectful appeal to lawmakers to pass protective pro-life legislation.
If you have never traveled to the Georgia State Capitol for this event, this is the year to come! People from across the state travel in cars, buses, and on foot from nearby businesses to unite with their fellow citizens who value life. We walk together, thousands of us, from the Capitol through the streets of Atlanta for one mile in silent, peaceful and reverent commemoration of the sanctity of life! Reminders: All banners and posters must be handheld. Poles and stakes of any kind are not allowed. Buses may be parked on Central Ave: Turn right off MLK (right and left lanes accomodate buses for special events). Please do not block any parking garage entrances for Underground Atlanta.
