Michigan Huckabee Supporters: Write letters to newspapers
Posted by: onemom on: January 10, 2008
Below are links to Michigan Newspapers representing the largest metropolitan areas of the state, as well as covering most regions of the lower and upper peninsula. Most of us in Michigan also have a small-town/local paper – please write letters to them as well.
Some quick tips about writing letters to the editor:
- Keep it brief and to the point. Most newspapers have a limit between 300 and 500 words for letters to the editor.
- Focus on one or two reasons why you will be voting for Mike Huckabee on January 15th. (Fairtax, education, pro-life, immigration, etc)
- Be sure to include all of your contact information. Most papers will not publish letters that are do not include your full name and address/email address.
- Do this today. Letters in newspapers around the state supporting Mike Huckabee over the next few days will be beneficial for Gov. Huckabee in Tuesday’s primary.
