From Rasmussen Reports today, in a match-up between Sen. Clinton and Gov. Huckabee, it is Clinton 46% and Huckabee 43%. In August and September, Sen. Clinton had an 8 point lead over Gov. Huckabee.

Now a word from OneMom …

OK everybody, Mike is moving up in the polls. He is garnering important endorsements (Rick Scarborough, Rick Warren, Don Wildmon, Chuck Norris, just to name a few), but he needs three things from US, the people:

• Our Money. It is an unpleasant reality, but money is necessary to win this election. I am in no way saying I think he needs as much as some of the other candidates, but he needs more than he currently has. Truthfully, I believe that Gov. Huckabee could win the whole thing with the sum total of what one candidate has simply loaned himself from his own pot of money. Think about how amazing it is that Mike Huckabee is polling at this level nationally and in early states through honest and consistent message, hard work, and a grass roots support system that is truly amazing. Think how much more amazing this all would be if money were added to the already powerful strength of Mike Huckabee and his campaign! Go HERE (please), and give now … as much as you can.
• Our mouths. This is no time to be shy. Gov. Huckabee needs us to tell everyone why we support him and bring them onboard. Use email (use it often), make phone calls, invite your network of friends/associates/neighbors in for a holiday tea and political chat. Print out Huckabee fliers and send them through the US Postal Service … there are probably all kinds of people out there wondering what has become of you over the years, so write them a letter and also tell them about Mike. Bumper stickers on your car, signs in your yard … people need to see the name “HUCKABEE”.
• Our prayers. Not just for his campaign or his fund raising, but for Mike personally …. strength, health, courage, his personal walk with God. We must buoy him with our prayers.
