(note: I have to shut down comments on all my Lance/Cancer related posts as I am being blasted with spam).
Unfortunately, MSNBC chose to only show 10 minutes of Mike Huckabee’s appearance this morning … and that was hours after the event was over (they showed considerably more of Brownback at the scheduled time … Matthews raked Brownback over the coals … but that’s for a later discussion).
Anyway, Mike Huckabee’s appearance is available online. When you click HERE, you will be taken to his opening statement where he talks poignantly about his wife Janet having a malignant tumor on her spine in 1975 (they had not even been married two years at this point) … this is a moving story that I had not heard before. He also talks about losing his father to malignant melanoma less than 4 months before Mike was first sworn in as Governor of Arkansas.
Click HERE to see Mike Huckabee discuss tobacco legislation that he helped pass while Governor of Arkansas and what he would support and promote as President.
Click HERE to see Governor Huckabee discuss lifestyle – exercise, nutrition – in relation to cancer.
Governor Huckabee spoke eloquently and more intelligently than any of the other candidates that participated in this forum … it is a shame that MSNBC chose to show so little of his appearance.
OK, just for fun … if you click HERE you can see Chris Matthews drag Sam Brownback through the mud. It was amazing how unprepared Sen. Brownback appeared and how unable he seemed to think for himself and come up with an intelligent response to Chris’ question.
Make it a great day everybody …

I actually haven’t gotten around to submitting my blog in to mikehuckabee.com yet.. but I am definitely going to do that soon. I made my blog about 5 days ago. So thanks for the welcome! I will keep an eye on your blog.. I seen it featured on the official Huckabee blog a couple times I believe!
God bless
This is great that you have been keeping everyone updated about this leading up to the time and posting about it today.

I am always amazed at how well prepared and thoughtful Huckabee is at these events. He makes everyone else seem so bland. But then again I guess I am a little biased. lol Great post!!!
