The main purpose for my starting to blog is a deep sense of urgency that I must do all I can to get people to notice the candidate that will bring healing and strength back to the United States. That man is Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas, and currently one of a crowded field of Republican candidates seeking the nomination to run for president of the US.

It seems that the media is deciding who will get both the Democrat and Republican nominations by giving the majority of attention to those they deem the “front runners”. I am urging all Americans to please not allow the news outlets to make this decision for us. Please go to http://www.explorehuckabee.com and carefully read his bio, his ideas for our country, his stand on many, many issues. Watch the debates … listening carefully to this man who is speaking from his heart, not just from a script of 10 talking points that he has memorized and been coached to spew out no matter what question has been posed.

I have never felt so passionate about a candidate before in the nearly 30 years that I have been voting (not even Ronald Reagan … who I felt passionately about him being elected president). I will continue to discuss more details and issues related to Governor Huckabee, but I wanted to get this initial blog post out as soon as possible.

I want to especially encourage other moms (all parents) to look at Mike Huckabee and spread the word. Let’s not lose this man because CNN and other news outlets want to focus on the pretty boys with all the money.
